Carnival of Cities, Urban World
The theme of this week’s carnival of cities is Urban World. Since the carnival usually starts in the U.S., I’ll turn it upside down and start in Europe this week.
In Preston, United Kingdom, Riversider wonders is Preston City Council Looking to “Build All Over” South Ribble? Can you imagine putting 4,000 homes here? What a loss. Read about it in Save The Ribble.
In Lisse, the Netherlands, Mother Road invites everyone to Tiptoe Through the Tulips at the Keukenhof Gardens outside Amsterdam. She writes about family travel at Kid Trippin’, part of Disney’s Family.com Web site.
In Rome, Italy, Henry Bagdasarian gives some great personal security tips in his article My trip to Italy. He blogs at Free Identity Theft Prevention, Detection and Fraud Solutions, showing that you don’t have to write a city blog to blog about a city.
