The Orchids are in Bloom

by Carole A. Lane on April 5th, 2007

picture-169d.jpgThe orchid show is now in bloom at .  This annual event coincides with the every year, and probably has a following nearly as large.

picture-165d.jpgWith more than 800 exotic orchids on display in front of the Animal Care Center, the colors and variety are enough to stop you in your tracks.  Even if you came to the Wild Animal Park for the animals, this picture-167d.jpgdisplay may make a flower-lover out of you.

Can you imagine arriving at the dinner party, encountering a table like this?  Not only are the centerpieces over the top, but there are full bouquets tied to the back of every  chair!
